The state of Missouri in the United States has been hit by a huge tornado which carved its way through the city of Joplin on a path six miles long and half a mile wide. SO far estimates are that it has killed at least 116 people. Much of the south side of city has been flattened with no building having survived the destructive power of the Tornado.
